Recipe: Quick Spicy Fried Rice
When I was in the chicken earlier, I was thinking of what to pair with some grilled pork chop. Looking at one of our numerous cook books, I found a recipe for chili rice but I didn't have all of the ingredients. So I modified the recipe to my own. Feel free to modify it to your own liking or modify it in accordance to your kitchen supplies.
I forgot to take a picture so just a picture of rice will hopefully do. Just imagine it in a shade of light red.

Recipe:
2 cups cold cooked rice (Sosyal terminology for kaning lamig)
2-3 tablespoons of your preferred brand of soy sauce
1-3 tablespoons of chili flakes or whatever substitute you find in your fridge
1 1/2 tablespoon of sweet chili sauce (preferably Thai Style)
Preparation:
Prepare ingredients.
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat a pan
- Place Rice
- Put other ingredients
- Wait for about 6-8 mins or more
- Serve hot (pun intended)
I would describe the taste as mildly spicy. You only feel the kick within your mouth and its starts slow and peaks after a few moments. Pair with soda or lemonade and a cold sweet dessert.
